  • At the Center for Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology, we believe in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and concern. We take the steps to communicate all aspects of your condition and treatment to you. We offer informative workshops and a support group that you may be eligible to participate in. Feel free to ask questions during your visit. Our doctors or other staff member will be happy to answer them.

  • Confidentiality: Your medical records are considered private. This information will not be given to anyone without your written approval, except to accommodate insurance companies in paying your claims quickly.

  • Appointments: Please call for an appointment before coming in. We respect your time and other commitments and want you to know our office strives to minimize your wait time. We will see you on time whenever possible but ask your patience when emergencies alter the appointment schedule. Please confirm appointments in the event of inclement weather.

  • Emergency Coverage: Allergy emergencies outside of regular office hours will always be handled. Dr. Randolph and Dr. Dreyfus can be reached at all times through their Waterbury answering service, (203) 755-7080. A physician will be on call to cover for either doctor when they are unavailable. In the rare event that both doctors are unavailable at the same time, you should contact your primary care physician.

  • Copays: Copays are always required to be paid at time of visit. Please bring along your current insurance card and a copy of any referral your insurance company may require you to obtain. Failure to do so will result in your being responsible for any charges incurred at the time of visit.

  • Return Calls to Patients: with exception of emergencies, our doctors return phone calls after the office has closed. This policy allows our doctors to give full attention to patients within the office.
